And that will fall between Zeed and the NCAA. Right?I'm not kidding. NCAA will want details.

The details are miniscule. Lets leave it at that.I'm not kidding. NCAA will want details.
Brent shared some of his conversation with Kyle McCord about Zeed. Nothing definitive but it is pay material for now from his $3.99 a month text service. I will say he is very responbsive on that service and if he doesn't know an answer he will dig into it for you. Some of the questions he asks at the Monday pressers come directly from that service.Ooh, Brent Axe, man of wisdom, has spoken. Whatever. I can believe this news but he still sucks
(It should be) Needless to say, they won't be holding a public hearing on it.I'm not kidding. NCAA will want details.
Not really worrying about Zeed's 2028 eligibility status right now. I doubt Coach Fran is either. If Zeed is healthy, in football shape and in good standing with the program he will play again this year. If not, he won;t.And that will fall between Zeed and the NCAA. Right?
I agree, my post was about the need for any of the info about his absence to be public knowledge. Not really worrying about Zeed's 2028 eligibility status right now. I doubt Coach Fran is either. Understood. I have a habit of reading through posts chronologically and just hitting reply arbitrarily. Should probably build the discipline to scroll back to the most relevant post but us old retired guys still haven't figured out all this newfangled technology!I agree, my post was about the need for any of the info about his absence to be public knowledge.
Do people actually do that? Read through an entire thread, then go back to specific posts to respond? I’d lose my mind.Understood. Depends on length and quality of thread, I 'spose ...Do people actually do that? Read through an entire thread, then go back to specific posts to respond? I’d lose my mind.
So you are paying Axe $3.99 to do his job. NiceBrent shared some of his conversation with Kyle McCord about Zeed. I dont think anyone expects a public hearing. I just hope they are willing to provide details when asking for a waiver. They cant just say "family matter"(It should be) Needless to say, they won't be holding a public hearing on it
We are paying Syracuse.com, not Brent. So you are paying Axe $3.99 to do his job. Nice
Less than a buck a week. Yes. I also have a syracuse.com subscription. Someone had to support local journalism so everyone else can reap the benefits. Kind of like NIL - Do it with OPM.So you are paying Axe $3.99 to do his job. Nice
What is wrong with you?I dont think anyone expects a public hearing. I just hope they are willing to provide details when asking for a waiver. They cant just say "family matter"
I dont need any more details at all. I haven't speculated once in this thread. I have merely statement that information vacuums get filled with speculation and that statement of fact has upset people. I'm not saying I endorse of even like that it happens. But it does. What is wrong with you?
Just saying "family matter" should have been the end for you but you want Fran to come out and say something like "one of his parents has cancer"? Would that be good enough for you? Or you'd want to know what type of cancer? What stage?
Just accept it and move on.
That would be up to the player to approveHardship waiver may apply, but the ncaa will ask for details that I do not know if the team is able or willing to provide.
That being said, I hope the kid gets a break
Hoping he does. Would be nice to have him back and I do believe they would need more to grant itThat would be up to the player to approve
Did he make you sign an NDA?Brent shared some of his conversation with Kyle McCord about Zeed. Nothing definitive but it is pay material for now from his $3.99 a month text service. It will be a rubber stamp. The reason is more than valid believe meI dont need any more details at all. I haven't speculated once in this thread. Secondarily, I made the point that if they want a waiver they likely will have to provide more details. Again, statement of fact. That's all.
I do believe you. Not talking about what I believeIt will be a rubber stamp. The reason is more than valid believe me
