does a Duke/Colgate split keep SU away from the Denver games?

Notre Dame and UNC both lost.

Meaning that Maryland and SU should move up. We already had the #2 RPI.

I think we're safe. No way we end up in the 4-5 game with Denver.

Notre Dame should get the other game in Denver.

You would have to think so. Colgate plowed through Bucknell to reach the Patriot League final, a rematch against an Army team that they recently defeated. Obviously a loss wouldn't be ideal, but both Duke and Colgate are ranked so it wouldn't be a "bad loss," if that makes sense.

But the NCAA works in mysterious ways. Take care of business, play to their potential, and force the NCAA to send them to Annapolis and not Denver.

I wonder if SU's ability to potentially bring several thousand fans to Annapolis might factor in our favor. The lax tournament is very tight on money (see "2 flights" and regional first-round games), and puffing up the gate would have to be high on their agenda.

Win tomorrow and we pretty much guaranteed a top seed with a Colgate win...great spot to be in
