SU Offensive Coordinators

I'm also hopeful in that Lester's O has gotten called "simple"... A change in OC from overly complex to "master the simple" could provide a nice boost in efficiency.

Agreed, when we made that 73 slot offensives ranking improvement under marrone it was by running the same 15 plays out of 10 different looking formations. Master the simple and make it hard to predict.

We also need to embrace running a Multi pace offense so we can run down someones throat in hurry up when the opposing d is on their heels. Or run clock to give the defense a breather and shorten the game for our opponents, which we have been horroible at the past two years with the needless hurry up in games where our defense is winning us the game. The D would run out of gas in the 4th quarter and it all fell apart.

Simple set of successful plays, from different sets, at different speeds, executed with mastery. Aaaand practice red zone offense and turning plays from outside the 20 into TDs like there's no tomorrow.

Average? Where do you get that from?
sliding scale for run heavy teams, you're allowed to be terrible if you hand off a lot while doing it for some people

defensive head coaches need to know what they want to do on offense and they have to be credible about it. shafer is making that same error

If you are going to be a run heavy team, then you better be better than 55th to be called an average offense.
