I think this is an extremely tough place to win that's vastly under appreciated here.

You think I expect us to be to top 25 often.

We can and should expect that.

Dino has one bowl season in 5 years.

If we are keeping this HC for strictly buyout reasons.

We play 9 games vs the P5 every year. Dino just needs a .333 W % and he makes a Bowl. The fact that he has failed to get 3 Ws vs the P5 four of his 1st five seasons is pretty damning. We are well on our way to another failed season to make it 5 of 6.

If we don't find a W next week, I think the losing will set in with the team. I think we will beat BC. I think we have a chance vs Louisville if things break right (TOs and STs). VA Tech and NC State should be close low scoring games. But we aren't good enough to overcome the road and Dino. Pitt looks out of our league.

I have a hard time seeing 5 Ws this year and that shouldn't be enough to keep his job. I think we are looking at 4-8, which should be a no brainer to move on from Dino. This is at worst a 6-7 team and at best an 8-5 team. Wasted talent.

Next week is make or break to have any shot at a bowl. 3-4 is rough enough considering how close these games have been but the killer is 3 of our losses are at home. 5 of 7 home games to start the year and we go 2-3. Now we finish with 3 of 5 away. Will be really tough. Even 1 of these last 3 would have put us in decent shape.

No it wouldn’t. Alabama has 2 openings for 2023.
LSU has openings.
I can find spots we could get paycheck games.

Teams don’t have room for home/homes.
Big dogs would pay us for paycheck games.
It’s just we wouldn’t do it because we aren’t a midmajor.
However we are going to keep a coach for money then we are a midmajor.

We could sell the Notre Dame game next year like Dr. Gross did.

If money is the reason we keep a coach then winning isn’t the top priority.

If we go 4-8 or worse this year I would have a very very very hard time justifying going to any games next year if Dino is still HC. Heck even 5-7 might not be enough. What is the point if he is a lame duck?

That is why I refuse to believe the AD is stupid.

It’s stupid to keep the coach just because of the buyout.
It’s just telling fans we are taking your money and don’t care to try to make the program better.
