I hope the front office doesn't get greedy and dump the other good long term prospects to make short term improvements. They have the chance to be really good for a really long time. Let the youth and enthusiasm carry the day this season.

If Bird or Austin are anything at first, Torrez can play 3rd for the next 2-3 years and either of the OF Fs turn into anything, this is a scary talented and very cost controlled lineup for the next 5+ years

add 3 more front line pitchers (develop at least 1 over the next 2 years from Kap. Justice, Chance, etc. and buy 1 or 2) and this team is in hard core contention year in and year out

An embarrassment of riches, to be certain. They might eventually need to package one of the hitters for a starting pitcher, but for right now, I'd play wait and see. And of course this run won't last forever, but it's sure some fun while it's happening.

It's not worth discussing at this point. Gardner is the outfielder that is tradable (assuming you don't want to part with Judge or Hicks). Ellsbury might end up being a highly-paid fourth outfielder.
