Remember what Joe Torre did to a Scott Proctor. He used him so much it would take its toil during the season.

Betances getting the ASB is what he needs to clean up mechanics without being overused.

Levine and Betances had that spat during arbitration for a reason.

Girardi has not overused Betances and has only rarely called upon him three days in row this season. In fact, there have been stretches where he has had to insert him in games simply to give him work.

The Levine thing is a non-issue in his performance. Levine is simply a tone-deaf clod, as he has always been.

Yeah, I would trade any player for the right price, but I am not giving up on Betances just because he has had a bad stretch.

In 31 games DB has 28 walks...his highest of his career is 40 in 2014 with 74 games played. His WHIP this year is 1.46 vs a career WHIP of 1.05. He has allowed only 14 hits this year, with only 1 HR. His Ks/9 are up a little...really confusing set of stats...
