LHP Caleb Frare: Just up from AA to AAA. Had 0.62 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 57 K in 44 IP at Trenton.

LHP Stephen Tarpley: 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP in 50.2 IP between AA/AAA.

RHP Raynel Espinal: 67 K in 51 IP at AAA.

RHP JP Feyereisen also pitching well at AAA. 2.25 ERA and 1.2 WHIP in AAA based on a couple rough outings.

And, in AA, lefty Phil Diehl has had a strong first few outings in Trenton after striking out 79 in 49 innings at High-A Tampa.

Speculation is the Rays want Sheffield if it’s a 1-1 deal but there were rumors Atlanta was interested in Sonny Gray and Rays would send Archer to New York. Then NY and Atlanta would send prospects to Tampa.
