Thé virus isn’t worse in cold weather it’s just cold season and germs spread a lot easier because people are inside a lot more.
That is the concern. During warm weather people don’t have to be in large gathering and indoors. Plus people take vacations during that time.
The virus isn’t going to be worse in the fall. It’s just going to spread a lot more easily.

Doesn’t matter, their numbers will keep going up. Just hoping the Phillies and Brewers stay negative for the greater good. Season is likely to end anyway.
I won’t dance on the cuserunner grave when it happens because that seems lame, I don’t even know him. But even he should see that the situation seems inevitable. You have 4 teams now stopping and starting, not good for their regular health, much less COVID. Sucks, but bad apples have been spoiling the bunch forever, this won’t be any different.

There is a players strike looming in 2021. Fauci said the virus will prob never go completely away even with a vaccine. So you will still have some people getting it. It will be like saying the flu has been going around the club house.

Players strike next year? So what? We are in a pandemic right now. If the players keep getting the virus, they can’t play. How do you not get that?

The NFL is going to try. How are they going to play if the virus spreads throughout teams? The players are concerned about their own safety and their families. It’s not just about entertaining fans. Lots of players have opted out already.

SO far it seems almost all the issues have been players not being smart within the team bubble. nothing really has happened on the field to lead to concerns.. fball is different. players will need to be smarter. look how MMA has dealt with it so far and thats in your face as much or more than fball.
