2020 MLB Season...

Decent sized crowd of people outside the Braves stadium - looked like few masks and zero social distancing from what the cameras showed, kids playing catch, etc.

Im not sure it would make an ounce of difference down there if they just opened their stadium up for business.

The whole south is like that. Watching all the sec games this weekend. Lots of people together not many masks.

I havae to admit that baseball got this right to try this format this season. I think you need to be more selective who makes the playoffs when you have 162 games, but in a 60 game this season, these series have been fun. I'm not going to compare it to March Madness yet, but it's been cool to have meaningful games on all afternoon and night.

100% got it right for this year

Welp, Paddack shizzed the bed - wonder why they didn’t go w Clevinger game one? I didn’t see if they were able to set the table at the end of the season but I looked at the MLB app this morning to see starters for the day and was shocked not to see Clevinger’s mug.

Would like to see this SDs lineup go off at some point.

He's hurt not on the roster.

Elbow issue for Clevinger. That's too bad. Like to see the best available in the playoffs and see who wins

The Battery around Truist Park is pretty cool. Lots of great bars/restaurants/shops. Saw Social Distortion there last year, when the Braves were hosting the Dodgers. They have concerts there all the time when the Braves are on the road. Fun place. Too bad about the lack of masks and social distancing. Dumb.

Hopefully my Braves can put it away today. We have 2 starting pitchers I trust - Max Fried and Ian Anderson. Really don't want to have to go to game 3.

Tampa-New York will be interesting.
I wonder if Cash will save Glasnow for game 2 like be did in the first round.

Yankees need to win game 1 with Cole.
Yankees should make Britton the closer. Chapman is too cardiac closer for me and after watching Kimbrel in 2018 you don’t want the closer being the pitcher you always have the least confidence in.

Well Chapman was lights out this past game. He's been a closer in many playoff situations. Yes, he's erratic but think it is his job to lose.

Braves playoff drought is over! Finally broke through in the 8th inning against a tough Reds staff. I'd prefer Marlins over the Cubs but we'll see what happens.

I wouldn’t mind the Braves winning it all they have a large fanbase in the South.
