I would think so. He was going 5-7 innings last September when he was getting regular starts.

I would think they’d have to stretch him out(and Price too). We’ve got Buehler, Kershaw, and Urias...can’t do two bullpen games with the other spots though. You’d destroy your bullpen IMO.
 
Dodgers go into the AS Break with the second best record in baseball...and are in second place.

I’m really surprised that the Giants have been this good for this long. Not surprising that they are improved, but nobody would’ve had them with the best record in the league at this point.

Giants lineup isn’t good.
They are better as a sum of the parts but when I looked at their lineup the other day against the cardinals it was amazing how mediocre most of their guys are.

They have a bunch of pretty good guys who aren't going to break the bank and are control-able. And then guys like Gauseman find another gear...

Idk them from adam. I dont watch college high school baseball. I will say the kid we drafted at 20 was ranked number 55. So that is a reach according to mlb.com

All of the older players are having great years. We will see if they can stay healthy and keep it up.

Know nothing about college baseball but my buddy who played college ball and follows it religiously said the Sox are having a great draft and The Mets got the steal of the draft with Rocker.

The having to wait three years going the college route hurt him a little bit. He had such a dominant freshman year if he's able to get in the 2019 draft he's unquestionably #1. The scouts had an additional 2 years to look for reasons not to take him. Agreed the Mets got him gift wrapped.

Rocker seems like a guy who could have injury issues with that delivery.
Plus scouts I read felt his velocity came earlier because of his size and that other pitchers have cleaner deliveries to get the velocity.
I wanted Leiter at 4 but didn’t want Rocker.
I see a Lance Lynn type of pitcher in Rocker.
Leiter projects like Walker Buehler.

You can do a lot worse than Lance Lynn.
 
Alonso's pitcher did the best job. It took him a second longer to get it up there, but he was getting it where Alonso wanted it.

He's been on my fantasy team a couple times, but I can't say I really knew much about him other than his stats and of course, when he got cancer. His interview was very impressive tonight. Seems like a guy who really gets it.
