Know nothing about college baseball but my buddy who played college ball and follows it religiously said the Sox are having a great draft and The Mets got the steal of the draft with Rocker.

We will see on Rocker. He seemed to get smoked every time he faced a real good team. I was scared the Sox were going to take him after Leiter and the Louisville catcher got taken. The the Tigers went off the grid a bit and the Sox got the guy everyone thought was going #1.

I like the Sox draft because now they will have assets to trade if they want to make moves in the off-season or next year.

I don’t think any of these kids in the draft are close to sure things this year.
I know the kid the Sox got in the second round was projected to be a top 20 pick and he hit 2 HRs in one game off Jack Leiter this year.

I wanted Leiter but am okay how it turned out thanks to the Tigers going a little off the grid. I didn’t want Rocker because he seemed like a guy who I think will get hurt unless they fix his delivery like Chris Sale.
Watch Lance Lynn he will be like him which isn’t bad but not the upside that a Leiter will have.

Alonso's pitcher did the best job. It took him a second longer to get it up there, but he was getting it where Alonso wanted it.

I would never want to pitch in home run derby. It’s too much pressure.

I am worried about Leiter's build. I will take the guys drafted. they have to sign them but I don't think they would have drafted them if they didn't think they could sign them.

It's supposed to be a fun contest. I have nothing against a guy having fun. But I can definitely understand how some would have the opinion that he crossed the line into a little too much arrogance with all that shaking etc

The talent in the league that is between like ages 20-27 is probably higher than it’s been in a long time IMO.

Hopefully the league can make the right call in what it wants to be, rules wise. Could be a really good run for the league in the coming years.

You do realize the Jays finishing 3 4th in the division is why they were able to get those great bats. The Yankees winning as much don't have a chance to draft those type of players.

Maybe because it is a team game. Just spit balling here. He only pitches once every five games. or are you doubting his hitting as well. If only we kept stats that told us how he was hitting.
