I have long been a Gardner fan, and have enjoyed watching him play with the combined joy and intensity he brings everyday. However, I think his time has passed and he should retire. That said, I'm not getting my ass in a big knot because he's back for another year. He's a left-handed batter, and we've had a lot of lost time in the outfield these last few years.
