It’s amazing how common these late game questionable moments have become

Walks are the main culprit plus hanging with guys who clearly don't have it. Britton is sti working back into form so I give him some slack. I do think that Green is being moved around to much, he seems to excel when given a specific inning save for the ninth. Also wouldn't mind Cessa given a shot if we keep struggling in the later innings. The big thing is Boone needs to get guys out when they don't have it or are walking the park.

I do legit get scared for pitchers every time he's up. I mean, he still destroys the ball.

But for a team that wants to minimize how much they subsidize the other teams (and I'm fine with that), and a team that likes having DH flexibility to rest players, that was a monster commitment to take on.

Clint Frazier is expected to return to New York on Friday. He could begin a rehab assignment shortly, Aaron Boone said.

Giancarlo Stanton probably won’t play the outfield here in St. Pete, Aaron Boone said. They’re looking at the upcoming Marlins series.

Although I like Frazier, I think Allen is an upgrade. Allen is hitting .296 vs. Frazier at .186 this year and .239 career. Allen's OPS is .926 vs. Frazier's .633 this year. Maybe Frazier will do better if and when he gets healthy, but right now, I feel better with Allen in the lineup.
