Speculation yankees giving up Garcia, Florial and Breau among others
You're right. Many of Frazier's career stats are better than Allen's, especially the numbers relating to slugging / extra base hits. But Allen's career WAR (0.9) and 2021 WAR (0.4) are both better than Frazier's career WAR (0.2) and 2021 WAR (minus 1.4). (Of course, none of those WARs are especially good). You’re assigning a lot of weight to 36 plate appearances. Take a glance at his career numbers.
He is hitting a career high right now. .223 And Texas is as big a hr park as there is in baseball. Right there with Colorado. He is left handed but he gives them more of the same otherwise.Yankees looking for a replacement for Gardner.
Gallo could hit 50 HRs at YS.

Speculation yankees giving up Garcia, Florial and Breaux among others. Hope that’s not true

Otto and Hauver are the names that pop out.Gallo is a good pickup for the Yankees.
His swing is tailored for a ballpark like Yankee Stadium.
The haul they gave up for him is a lot though.
Texas did well.
Duran and Smith were drafted in my dynasty league. Of course they were by Yankees fans but they are good prospects.
Sounds impressive until you start naming the lefties the Yankees have been sending out there to hit.MY GOD!!
Yeah, unfortunately Frazier has ruined his career WAR this season. You’re right that Allen couldn’t be worse than Frazier this year. I would love to see Allen continue to succeed, but my expectations are low. You're right. Well, it can't hurt. But, and this is the sky is blue, they really need a CF that can hit from the left side and run. That isn't Gallo. But like I say, it can't hurt them..380 OBP helps offset that. And they have him next year. I think it's a good move. I wasn't a fan of being a buyer for a WC game, but given that it's another year and I read they didn't give up any of their top 13 prospects, sounds like it's not a bad deal.
