One thing I do know - it's nice to have the Mets relevant enough to have a troll in our thread this year.
Yes. It is good we have finally become troll worthy. Thanks Lord Troll! One thing I do know - it's nice to have the Mets relevant enough to have a troll in our thread this year.

Carrasco this afternoon. Bullpen is kind of taxed.
Diaz has pitched 2 days in a row. No way he is available.
Guessing Ottovino and Smith are probably not going to pitch as well after pitching last night.
Assuming we have a lead, Lugo will probably be asked to pitch the ninth. Maybe the eighth too.
Before that, Yoan, Shreve and Rodriquez should be available. Trevor May too, if Buck dares.
Maybe Reid-Foley if his leg is okay. And I guess Williams.
NYC press was speculating Pete might get rested after the latest shot to the head. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple other starters get rested. Especially Lindor who finally has cooled off and has played in every game so far.

I know its not a conventional no hitter but man tonight was really cool.
Berra had 3 including a perfect game in a WS game. I think the record is 4. Veritek from Boston and Ruiz from Phillies.McCann caught all nine innings. Maybe no-hitters should be attributed to catchers. How many did Yogi Berra catch?
The source you provided shows he had 3 not 4.I've just edited my previous post with a couple of sources on the subject.

To your question... but where is Ray Schalk?
Answer: In the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
Looks like Mets got a good one in Megill. A little concerned the bats seem to be going to sleep.
Until a rules change in the early 1990s disallowed one of them. I remember reading a story about incorrect plaques in Cooperstown and he was part of it."Ray Schalk `14, `14, `17, `22"
They have also played an incredibly easy schedule. Kc cle det. Bal twice. The red Sox who are off to a bad start. And after all that, the team with the best record in baseball for the month of April is... the Yankees!
I have relatives who are huge Yankee fans who were downgrading the Mets opening 10 games after they played the Nationals and Diamondbacks. You play who is on your schedule but other than the Blue Jays, the Yankees have played one garbage team after another. Funny, my relatives have been quiet the last week on strength of schedule. Congrats to them on a 9 game streak. They’ll come down to earth once the level of competition rises. They have also played an incredibly easy schedule. Kc cle det. Bal twice.
