Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is uncertain to play Saturday against the Cowboys due to a sprained shoulder he suffered Sunday in the victory over the Bears, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

It is not considered a long-term injury, a source said. If Hurts can't play Christmas Eve, veteran Gardner Minshew will get the call.

Agreed. It's important to win your division, but that shouldn't mean you automatically host a game.

I'd probably go with either a) if you're under .500, you don't get to host, or b) if there's a 2/3/4 game difference between the division winner's win total and the wild card's win total, you don't get to host.

One could argue that the team that won its division may have played a much tougher schedule.

My post was in reference to the idea that the official intentionally lied to a player about whether he was in a legal formation. That seems pretty far out there.

The DPI no-call, well, IDK. Certainly seems people get called for far, far less than that.

This is why its so freaking stupid.
You got one official on the final play who doesn't want to make a PI call because he wants the "players to decide it" (My own words) on the field. Ok fine. cool beans.

BUT, then you have the other official on the other side, who the very play before, absolutely stuck his nose into determining the games outcome by calling a formation penalty that other refs have stated, no way they would have called in that situation.

So be consistent. Either stick your nose in there or don't. As this played out, the Commandos got the short end of the stick each time.

Jets coach Salah might be too much of a meathead for a head coaching gig. Doesn't understand how time outs work. Literally. Said in the post-game pressor that "time was not a factor because we had three time outs"

He apparently does not realize that the REASON time shouldn't be a factor when you have three time outs is because generally coaches CALL THEM as the clock is ticking towards game over. OMG it was bad.

I thought his clock and game management towards the end of the Bills game was odd as well. I think Salah is a good DC and motivator buy not very sharp otherwise. Other than the QB spot jets have a ton of talent

As much crap as the QB gets, he made a great play to get them into low probability FG range. But they ran out of time and couldn’t advance it to a more makeable distance . Because they didn’t call timeouts earlier .

Obviously I dislike both teams so I cannot be accused of being a homer .. that whole ending felt very scripted or predetermined. It was basically decided the giants were going to win and the refs made sure.

EDIT: I got this info from a good source but have not seen it confirmed anywhere else but betting line has gone from Dallas-1 to Dallas -5.

Once Vegas moves the line your source is golden. Good move by them. They only need to win one game to lock up the #1 seed. Minshew could still do the job.

one thing the NFL should do is if a team gets in by winning a division and is under .500 they should not get to host a game.

I mean if Tampa gets in at 7-10 or something stupid they shouldnt be hosting Dallas at 13-4.

100%. Give them a ticket to the tournament as division champ but if under .500 you get seeded accordingly.

I think they made it official today.. Now its when will they announce the real details.. I expect cost to stay in the $300 range. Maybe they create a per team feed at a cost which may pull some more people in.

Still have to find out if we can watch multiple games at a time and how streaming outside the home will work.

I love YouTube TV as a service. Easy to use interface. Unlimited recordings. I am really interested to see what the Sunday Ticket product will look like and also whether they will repackage Red Zone. My wife likely will not be so pleased.

You have a completely different view of the youtube experience. I find it so clunky and frustrating with the constant scrolling to find channels.

Have you tried curating your channels? You can filter out any ones you don’t use and can group them any way you want. Also, if you are watching multiple games at once, there are easy “last channel” feature that allows your to go back and forth between multiple channels more easily than on cable. Supposedly, YouTube TV will also be adding a multi watch feature that allows you to have four browsers/channels at once.
