Yeah, the two are not even closeAnd former teammate of Benny at IMG. Would take his potential over Ballard.

We could press very effectively and with a couple of spot up shooters, we'll wow.Would take him in a frigging nano second.
press ? under what coach do you speaketh ?We could press very effectively and with a couple of spot up shooters, we'll wow.
I think the whole LSU team has portaled and their 3 recruits have decommitted
Did you see our press with great athletes. It was very, very good and brought us from the jaws of defeat many times. JB did not have a pressing team recently, especially this year. That looks like it will change now.press ? under what coach do you speaketh ?
For all the grumbling about our turnover (mostly warranted), UVA seemingly has had even more departures the last few years - I think this is number 4 now this year
I assume if you got a bag from Wade, and he got fired, you can decommit and go for a second bag, why not?Sounds like a letter Klinger might have received.
Half the family portaled, the other half decommitted.
Even with immediate eligibility, Wahab isn't going somewhere to be a back up.He's played 3 years already.
I can't see him sitting out a year. Unless he can somehow get a waiver because Turgeon left.
Sounds like Syracuse native Quincy Ballard is our target.Anyone have any insight on some potential backup C options on the portal? There's tons of guys with a year or so left. I'd love to have a BIT more experience behind Edwards with Frank leaving.
Oh Fudge...
yep. no one is that excited about him, understandably, but we aren't getting anyone that good to sit behind Jessie, kids don't portal to play 9 minutes a gameSounds like Syracuse native Quincy Ballard is our target.
Yeah. Can't say I'm thrilled about dealing with him at least twice next yr - he obliterated the zone last yrGood get

That's a great fit if they can get him. He's only getting 3-4 min a game...maybe getting 10-12 to come home would be enticing enough.Sounds like Syracuse native Quincy Ballard is our target.
That's the risk of jumping ship to the portal. With increase freedom of movement comes increased risk of no spot when the music stops. No free lunch. So there are 358 D1 teams out there and over 1000 players today in the portal. We now have current players who can play at least 5 or some 6 years of college basketball because of Covid. There are of course incoming freshman from high school, junior college transfers, lower division players also attempting to play D1 ball. So there are enough players currently just in the portal to fill almost 3 players for every single D1 team - not counting incoming freshman, junior college transfers etc. Totally unsustainable and there are going to be so many players left out of this insane game of musical chairs.
