It seems to be a yearly thing for people to complain about the schedule so it's whatever

Yup. Well said. Three toughest teams back to back to back. Two on road.

Yes I tend to agree. Purdue loses a ton but it’s still a Big 10 road game. Army is no pushover. Three straight against Clemson/UNC/FSU is brutal, as is a Thursday nighter at Lane to follow. We’ve covered the Pitt to Yankee Stadium angle already…but wow what a bad year for this.

On paper there are a lot of wins to be had but the sequence is really going to test our depth. Coaching staff has their work cut out for them…

If that Pitt game is a home game the schedule looks a lot better. The early home games are a staple of most SU seasons and hard to avoid as most teams don't want to be playing an OOC game in October or November. The 3 game gauntlet is just the ACC crapping on us as usual.

Purdue is the swing game, you win that you are 4-0 with Clemson coming to the Dome, but even at 4-1 you have to think they can get two more and make a Bowl Game.

My god, I look at this and went from thinking 8 wins possible to worrying about a bowl game, home games matter and that Va Tech game being moved to a Thursday night prime time game hurts, plus moving Pitt to Yankee Stadium yikes.

Does the Thursday game hurt us more than Va Tech? I suppose it depends on which team has depth or injury issues.

It’s a great opening schedule. Real chance to start 4-0 again and not be beat up going into the league

I don't mind it, I'm just saying people shouldn't be surprised when the league loads up the road schedule on us in October cause we fill up our September dates.

Last four would look better without the stupid flocking trip to the Bronx. That might cost us a bowl game.

Also a great opportunity to get Clemson early and healthy. That’s the bowl game. Much rather have a front loaded home heavy schedule early.

That schedule is a gauntlet to start the ACC.

So we have a 8 week stretch with one home game. From 9/30 until 11/25. Great for our home fans.

They should install the individual seats during that break.

Might as well get something out of it.
