And this appeared to be a strong cycle for options too. Next year, who knows what the quality will be.

I didn't watch that particular game but the games I watched, they looked very similar to 'Bama on offense just a less skilled version. They run lots of pick-and-roll type sets. Look to isolate mismatches and either use those mismatches to get to the rim or draw double teams to kick out for 3s. Very little mid-range at all. This is very modern-day basketball.

The name that continues to impress me is Niko Medved I think I mentioned him on this board like 3 years ago as a name that is jumping out to me. I think he is an excellent coach as well and someone I would keep an eye on. He has made the tournament 3 out of the last 4 years out of the Mountain West.

Feels like Minnesota would be insane to not hire him right?
 
This might be the most depressing March ever; it's painful to watch all of these other schools actually take basketball seriously and put salt in the wound while Cuse willfully languishes.

I agree 100%, was more of a joke. I don’t think we want to spend the cash. I expect us to hire GMAC and call it a day

Yeah Minnesota is a dead end P5 job. He’ll probably pull a Darian DeVries (WVU to Indiana) in a year or two and upgrade to a more high profile program. Medved would be a fantastic hire for us.

Just like Richard Pitino he will last 4-5 years and then get fired and have to drop down and build himself back up and then get another P4 shot like Richard will.
