2024 bowl projections thread

SU has been to the west coast twice already this year. I wonder if they don’t want another trip there?

Yea I really dont think they do at all. Thats what I was trying to say really. I feel that this bowl and that matchup would be our only chance at west coast, and a long shot.

We really really need to win this game. If we win we should go to the #1 ACC non-playoff bowl which is the Gator bowl vs Florida.

We win Miami is out of the playoffs and ACC championship. If Clemson beats S. Carolina they likely get into the playoffs with SMU . The Gator bowl won’t take Miami since they’ve already played Florida this year. We should be the highest ranked ACC team after that. Would be amazing if we can pull this off .

My guess is Gator Bowl. Also if the miracle happened, we might be in the play-off as 11th or 12th seed. Need those 2 loss or 1 loss teams with weak schedule lose more in late games, such as Indiana.

It depends how many ACC teams goto playoff. Miami is most likely out (haha!) but If Clemson wins the ACCCG, I think SMU might still get in which means we goto a better bowl.

This is my dream scenario, too. Wouldn't be bummed by the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, either. That would also be a very good destination and quality opponent.

Right now, I'm thinking Pop Tarts or Sun. Miami at 10-2 out of CFP and ACC champ so probably gets Gator. Winner of ACC champ and ND in CFP. Loser of ACC champ gets Holiday/Sun. Duke at 9-3 probably to Mayo. Vile at 8-4 to Pinstripe. BC to Fenway. Schpitt to Military, GT to Gaspy. NC St, to Birmingham (as it should be).
