Big decision on Gator Bowl for me, if that is the destination. I would like to know if anyone is opting out to make that decision.

this should be merit based, not who can pay the most money.

And by "anyone", you mean Kyle McCord.

Because, no offense to any of the other dudes who did or will be playing their last game for Cuse this year (and likely ever) -
only McCord is irreplaceable.

Guys like Gadsden, LQA, Pena, Barron, Wax, etc are all studs who had great seasons and careers for us.
But we've got Next Man Up for all of them, and it might be a good opportunity to get to see those guys get 1st team reps in the bowl game.

And, frankly - ALL of those dudes (sans maybe Gadsden) have more to gain by showing out in a good bowl game, than by opting out.

Just one fan's opinion, YMMV.

I got an email saying bowl tickets will go on sale to the general public at 7 but CAF donors will get to pick before then.
If it is Gator, I will go but only if I know Kyle will play.
if the opponent is indeed SC, I can’t see him opting out.

I hate Reese Davis speech. How he says Clemson and similar makes me cringe. He has terrible “s” and has a problem w phlegm sound with starting words like Clemson.

Kyle said in a podcast earlier this week that he and a bunch of guys were deciding together whether to play in the bowl. It depends on bowl, location and opponent.

i would think the Gator with SC would check all the boxes.
Fran would be beyond excited

Yes. It also opens up a much better bowl game for us.

Clemson winning in the exact manner they did was the best outcome for us. I was worried in the first half when they were up really big that a blowout would knock SMU out of the playoffs.

I think the Holiday, Gator and Pop-Tarts are peers and the best bowls for the ACC... Looking at the opposing conference, I think Gator is best for a number of reasons.
