2024 Holiday Bowl- Syracuse vs. Washington State December 27th, 8pm ET

I don’t think that there is any chance that McCord or many of the other players on either team with NFL aspirations play in the game. According to a Washington state fan site the playing surface at snapdragon stadium is borderline dangerous( WSU played San Diego State there earlier in the year). Hellacious, was another adjective used to describe the surface.

Well, by that reasoning, why would they play in the Senior Bowl, or any of those other post-season all-star games?

Imagine Fran on the recruiting trail with 10 wins and a top 20 finish. This is the only upside to the holiday bowl other than experiencing San Diego

Has there been any other upside since the 1987 Sugar Bowl?

I hear you. That's true nationally.
But for these guys, where have they played in bowl games before (if at all ...) - Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park in the snow?
This is a national game on Fox. It's a chance to be part of a 10 win team.
So few guys are a "sure thing" in the NFL. Wouldn't you want a good story to tell your grandkids?
That's what the Holiday Bowl, the Gator Bowl, the Liberty Bowl, the Sun Bowl, are all about. These are legacy bowl games.

they played in Florida last year.

That tweet shows both Kyle and OG practicing for the bowl!

Doesn’t mean they are playing.

Any smart player entering the draft would continue practicing with the team during this time.

Both are still 100% deciding what they are going to do.

I would put both at 50/50 shot at playing
