Was that when Jeff Blake was the QB for ECU? Man. I always found it ironic that for a team that had mobile quarterback traditions we often had trouble stopping opponents who had similar quarterbacks. Jamie Burnett at NC State; Mike Vick (minus the freeney year); Major Harris (?); Doug Flutie; I am sure there are others that I am forgetting.

If we can do our thing against CMU, this will be the first time Syracuse Football started 3-0 in 24 years. I was 8.

ECU in '91 was a classic What loss and remember, in '92 we lost at home to an Ohio St. team we were favored to beat and narrowly lost to Miami at home, the only two losses on the season.

I think you could make a very reasonable argument that the 1992 team was better than the 1987 team.
