Not really. It's very likely Coyle is going to need to make a decision one way or another before he knows with certainty who the replacement will be.

That's why the decision is largely about Shafer's ability to succeed going forward, not if there is someone better attainable.

Unlike you, I like Scott Shafer. Unlike you, I actively rooted for him to succeed instead of passively aggressively taking shots at him to make his predecessor [who you have an unhealthy preoccupation with] look better. Unlike you, when it became clear that he wasn't capable of getting the job done, I changed my mind about him. For the record, I was dead set against hiring him in the first place.

One more thing: your strange behavior to churn through the archives looking up what people said months ago makes you come across as creepy, stalkerish, and petty. If ever there was a fan that Buzz Shaw's "get a life" comment applied to, it would be you.

Another BS mischaracterization on your part. Your specialty. I offered some legitimate reasons why the data you presented could be taken with a grain of salt. They were valid reasons, presented respectfully, and echoed by numerous other posters who made the same exact points that I did. But since you are congenitally incapable of having any of your opinions disagreed with, you get unnecessarily offended and respond like a smarmy little pissant.

What's comical about the highlighted section above is that yes, you are indeed making stuff up.
