Track & Field ACC Championships [Raleigh, NC]: May 11-13


Women's 400H Prelims – Thursday, 6:00 p.m.
Shaleah Colaire and Kirstyn Schechter will be the first two 'Cuse competitors to take to the track at the ACC Championships. The winner of each of the four heats, plus the next-four fastest times advance to Saturday's final in the event.

Men's 400H Prelims – Thursday, 6:20 p.m.
Xayvion Perkins and Elijah Mallard both drew the same heat in Thursday's 400-meter hurdles prelims. The prelims will see the winner of three heats, plus the next-five fastest times advance to Saturday.

Women's 200m Prelims – Thursday, 6:40 p.m.
Kaleia Arrington will start her meet in the 200-meter dash. She will race in the first of four heats in the prelims. The winner of each of the four heats, plus the next four best times advance to Saturday's final.

Men's 200m Prelims – Thursday, 7 p.m.
James Nmah and Trei Thorogood will race from the same heat in the men's 200-meter dash prelims. Both are entered in the third heat, where Thorogood has the second-fastest seed time. The four heat winners, plus the next-four fastest times, will advance to Saturday.

Men's 1,500m Prelims – Thursday, 7:45 p.m.
Karl Winter and Nathan Henderson will race in the first and second heat of the 1,500-meter run, respectively. Henderson is building towards a second-straight NCAA Championships appearance in the event. The top-two from each of the four heats, plus the next four fastest runners will make the final on Saturday.

Women's 10,000m Final – Thursday, 8:10 p.m.
Only two women enter Thursday's 10,000-meter run having posted a time below 33 minutes on the season, and they both wear Orange. Amanda Vestri has the 19th best time in NCAA history and enters the race as the favorite, followed by teammate Savannah Roark. Ellie Lawler, Sophia Jacobs-Townsley and Shona McCulloch are also entered in the event, featuring a 21-woman final.

Men's 10,000m Final – Thursday, 8:50 p.m.
The deepest Syracuse field of any event, six men are entered in the men's 10k final on Thursday night. They feature Paul O'Donnell (the ACC indoor 5k champ), Nathan Lawler, Assaf Harari, Silas Derfel, Jack Whetstone and Alex Comerford.


Women's 100H Prelims – Friday, 6 p.m.
Colaire and Schechter will also race in the 100-meter hurdles, a day after taking on the 400-meter hurdles prelims. The three heat winners, plus the next-five fastest times, will advance to the Finals.

Men's 110H Prelims – Friday, 6:25 p.m.
Led by Jaheem Hayles, who finished fourth nationally in the 60-meter hurdles in March, five men will race for the Orange in the 110-meter hurdles. Hayles, who trails Geno Roberts by 0.06 seconds on seed time, will be joined by Naseem Smith and Anthony Vazquez in his heat. Emmanuel Joseph and David Peters will be the SU competitors in the other. Eight men will advance from the 11-man preliminary field.

Women's 100m Prelims – Friday, 7:15 p.m.
Arrington is also entered for the Orange women in the 100-meter dash. She'll be in the third of three heats on Friday, with the winner of each heat plus the next three fastest times advancing to Saturday's final.

Men's 100m Prelims – Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Thorogood and Daijon Richards will take on the men's 100-meter dash. They'll race in the first and second heats, respectively, where the winner of each heat, plus four times will advance to the next day.

Men's 800m Prelims – Friday, 8 p.m.
Alexander Segarra will race in the fifth heat of the 800, where the heat winner plus next-three best times will advance to Saturday's final.

Men's 3000S Final – Friday, 8:50 p.m.
Kevin Robertson enters the 22-man final of the 3000-meter steeplechase as the pre-meet favorite based on seed time. He owns a mark of 8:37.26, with no other competitor within a second of his season-best this year.

Men's 4x100-meter Relay – Saturday, 5:10 p.m.
Syracuse will race in section one of the 4x100-meter relay

Event Finals – 5:20-7:30 p.m.
Finals of all of the preliminary events will be raced in 10-minute increments beginning at 5:20 p.m. for members of the Orange who qualify in their respective events.

Women's 5000m Final – Saturday, 7:40 p.m.
Five women are entered in the women's 5k final, led by Roark and Vestri, who were third and fourth in this event at the conference indoor meet in February. Abigail Spiers, Ivy Gonzales and Olivia Joly will also race in the event, which is a one-race final.

Men's 5000m Final – Saturday, 8:05 p.m.
Led by the conference indoor champion, Paul O'Donnell, five 'Cuse men will compete in the ACC 5k championship. In addition to O'Donnell, Noah Carey, Henderson, Karl Winter and Nathan Lawler are set to compete.

Men's 4x400-meter Relay – Saturday, 8:40 p.m.
The last event for 'Cuse at the ACC Championships will be the 4x4. 'Cuse is entered in section one.
