Amazing how spectacularly wrong you are constantly.
NC State’s best player, leading scorer, leading assistmen, 3rd best rebounder tore his ACL a week before they played us the first time.

An MRI today revealed that NC State senior guard Devon Daniels suffered a torn anterior crucial ligament (ACL) in his left knee in the second half of last night's victory over Wake Forest.

We beat them 3 times without their best player.

They also won 7 straight games after they got hurt. Maybe their coach didn’t realize he had better players on the bench?

The ACC sucked outside of UVA they didn’t beat NCAAT teams.
They lost a good player.

Their coach just retired so he's likely sick of it. We split the last two seasons with em.

PG is the most important position in college hoops. Unless Torrence becomes special we aren’t going much different than this year.

I don’t like my post but it’s just an honest acceptance of reality.

Reality changes from day to day. We can change what we view as reality. Nothing stays the same. If it did, we would still be living in a time before the wheel was invented. 3000 years ago people accepted the reality that the world was flat, and if seafarers traveled too far on the ocean they would fall off the end of the earth. That reality changed. Many people have believed their lives would never amount to anything, that was their reality. But through a change in their belief, they made a better life for themselves, and their reality changed.

Here's another issue that drives me nuts with JB:

I can see him, at times, still getting the car to fifth gear with his coaching. I can still see him just absolutely smoke fools with his coaching ability.

It's why it's so disappointing that he just doesn't make some shifts to get assistants that can bring in big time recruits and let them cook on the recruiting trail.

Give JB the right set of guys and he's still a scary guy to have to coach against.

We don't need McDonalds AA. But we do need some top 50 guys, top 100 guys. We need the right size/length.

Hence why the KR thing is driving me so nuts. he was the PERFECT pg for JB and to play with Buddy.

JB can have a team a tier below the Dukes/UNCs/Kentuckys in terms of pure talent and still absolutely smoke teams because of his coaching.

Agree and I get it. I would probably reach my limit of kissing up to teenagers also. Recruiting seems to be the one thing that causes most coaches to call it quits. But if you're going to keep doing coaching, it's half the job.
