Legitimately concerned he won’t be here next year. Talk me off the ledge. I was also concerned about slayton last year so I’ve been wrong before

I never thought the Sugar Bear would declare early. You just never know...somebody get's in his head, and he starts seeing $$$...it could happen.

Not happening. Dline class in this draft is otherworldly.

Different situation though. The coaching change played a part in that. AR knows he is playing on a rising team that has a chance to get, along with him, a lot of recognition next year.

See my comment about stars aligning in unique ways.

Alton Robinson & Kendall Coleman have 7 sacks apiece. 27 as a team through 3 quarters! Both of them have a possible Sunday future.

DL has performed very well thus far.

Even on the back end, 12 INT’s to the 5 we’ve given up. It’s correlated to the pressure we’ve produced.

He isnt going anywhere near the first round next year either. needs to be able to do more than occasionally rush the passer. could see him as a 5-6th rounder with a really solid yr,

next year's NFL Draft is the deepest D-line class maybe in the history of the NFL Draft. If he turns pro he is getting bad advice

I bet ya he gets close to first round. He needs to be a bit better n the run game but he has another year to do that. He has first round speed and get off. They think they can coach rest of that.

perhaps. he does a nice job turning the corner at times, but very inconsistent, first round guys dominant play after play. I hope he does cause thats good for him and us.

Freeney was 11 and he was the most dominant guy in college.

I compare him to Allen at BC and he is not even close to him yet

Remember during year one of Dino Babers tenure, when many posters were whining about the Tampa 2 and lamenting that we weren't using stunts to try to generate blitz pass rush, instead of ripping of the band-aid and committing to implementing the new defensive system?

Turns out, the coaching staff knew what they were doing. Just wait until the personnel gets optimized -- we aren't quite there yet.

radio guys said Alton was injured late in the wake game - was there anything to that? You can never tell with Park he's so bad.

(Off topic but I want to slit my throat when I have to listen to matt park. he harped on Fredericks unsportsmanlike for 20 minutes ... "what was he thinking", "he's lost his mind." it was sort of weird how much he harped on it actually.)

I’ve said it over and over again, Matt Park is an embarrassment. He’s a company guy and I understand (sorta) why SU keeps someone who isn’t a threat to leave (continuity & not having to worry about filling the position). But he is by far the worst I have ever heard at football. Doesn’t give down and distance nearly enough (this was before the Babers offense was implemented), and has a terrible voice. Not to mention he isn’t even that good on camera with his interviews and is average to below at basketball, too.

Well other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

Wake was the third game this year I've had to listen to on the radio.

Wow.

It's weird. Park is beyond difficult to listen to: slow with down and distance (when he offers it at all), often losing track of play by harping on some old opinion he's offering, and he's constantly losing the important tidbits in the barrage of irrelevant stuff he's talking about.

I don't get it.
