I hate that. I go to Ann Arbor and I'm one of 114,000 people singing The Victors. I go to the Dome and I feel like I'm the only one singing Down, Down the Field.

Our fanbase is either too cool or too ignorant to do anything other than "Let's Go Orange ". There are minor league hockey fanbases that know more songs and do more cheers.

We could fit all the fans who weren't in band who know the words into one section of the Dome. Hell Coach P didn't even know the fight song 4 years into his head coaching gig. It's a shame.

It's really no different than most of the hundred other fight songs that people know for their respective schools. Desmond Child didn't write any of those either.
