I’m okay with that because I feel like if Collins is the starter day 1 over Angeli, it means he must’ve REALLY solidified himself as our best opportunity to win games.Collins will be the starter and never relinquish.

Did Jeff swap books with Deleone? Not a chance. Heard he isn’t grasping the playbook.
In which game?Angeli's gonna throw for 3,000 yards.
Yep, exactly what I have been saying, and that if he does not start it means we have another Donovan McNabb in the fold with Collins.ND kid will start
The way these fans switch up needs to be studied! The recency bias in this fanbase is outrageous!Collins will be the starter and never relinquish.
Loved what I saw of Angeli in the CFP. But no one that is not on the coaching staff can have any idea which if these kids wins the job. Whichever does win it will have to have proven something in practice to beat out the other one. I think the trepidation some have about Collins is he sounds a little like Del Rio-Wilson. Different QB, different guy that has his own opportunity. I don't have a favorite and can see both QB's seeing some time but not a full 2 QB system.
Sounds like Collins has the yips. Not sure that I've seen anyone express that concern.
Is that true?Sounds like Collins has the yips.
Just the vibe I’m getting from insiders here.Is that true?
Lot of stereotypical tropes I'm starting to see popping up here when comparing Collins with Angeli...Not a chance. Heard he isn’t grasping the playbook.
I do think Collins not playing in the spring game massively warped perception of him, and not in a favorable way.Lot of stereotypical tropes I'm starting to see popping up here when comparing Collins with Angeli...
Because he got hurt before the spring game, it's giving people the ability to throw nonsense out there.
Sounds like Collins has the yips.
Agree 100%. With no evidence of his play on the field, it's hard to feel totally confident abut how he might have looked in spring practice with Fran grabbing Angeli out of the portal as soon as he could. Probably not fair, but it's hard to shake that idea.I do think Collins not playing in the spring game massively warped perception of him, and not in a favorable way.
And if he somehow does manage to beat out Angeli for the starting position, I think we're in a really good place.Agree 100%. We have PTSD with injured starters tanking our seasons. The perception of Collins is definitely being hurt by our recent past. Hopefully, he comes to Fall healthy and gets going.I do think Collins not playing in the spring game massively warped perception of him, and not in a favorable way.
I was told by a very good source that Collin’s is a great athlete with a strong arm but hasn’t mastered the mental aspects of the game and is unlikely to start. He is one of the reasons that Pena left. It’s Angeli’s job to loseTwo very good QBs. Depth behind them has talent. Season is going to be a gauntlet. We are really fortunate that the QB room is solid and we have a QB coach and OC that can adjust based on the skill sets of each QB. I think we are in very good shape.

He is a pretty young guy and just got here in the beginning of the year and probably missed some reps at the end of spring with the injury. So not entirely surprising I guess. QB is mentally demanding position. Hopefully its just things that will come with some more time here in this offense. Angeli just getting here in the summer doesn't leave much time for him to pick everything up. Hopefully he is heavily in the playbook.I was told by a very good source that Collin’s is a great athlete with a strong arm but hasn’t mastered the mental aspects of the game and is unlikely to start.
