Chris02M is next

I'm trying to have my conference make some geographic sense.
stick to your plan.

mine is to react to everyone elses.

then capitalize on everyones mistakes...

fwiw: Ole Miss is always on my radar.

I will say their is only 1 team left from my personal top 15 and I can't believe they are still on the board. I think Chris said he is done for night so we will start back up tomorrow. Like Day 1 of the NFL this should give our GMs a chance to recharge and look over their boards for the evening.

TexBauer PODs

1. Bama, UF, Auburn, Clemson (Completed) Our nominee for strongest POD.
2. USC, Oregon

Yeah we can build West or Start another POD...we are that good.

michigan, nd, wisconsin and a tbd (even if its St Marys School for the Blind) say...ahem.

4. Kaiser- Wisconsin- The Badgers are the 19th most profitable football team, and 11th most profitable basketball team, and are very good in both sports as well.

Fourth round
1. Kaiser- Tennessee, The Vols are the 15th most profitable football team, and 17th most profitable basketball team. Kaiser got good value in these picks.
2. TexanMark/ JackBauer-Southern California. USC fell because of the West Coast they are the 26th most profitable football team, and 71st most profitable basketball team. However, their TV brand is excellent at 6th most popular team and open up recruiting in LA.
3. Chris- Penn State, the Cult of Joe has a taken a little hit in football because of Sandusky, but they are still the 9th most profitable football program, and 29th most profitable basketball program even though they suck. Penn State also gives access to PA recruiting
4. BlackKnight-South Carolina, The Gamecocks are the 20th most profitable football program, and the 46th most profitable basketball program. USC East is a riser thanks to Spurrier building up the football program.

Fifth round
1. Blackknight- Miami(FL), Da U has the 34th most profitable football program, and 31st most profitable basketball program. The Hurricanes open access to South Florida recruiting and the swagger of U football team.
2. Chris- Michigan State. Sparty has the 18th most profitable football program, and Izzo's basketball program is the 7th most profitable program. The Spartans are a great value here even though they are little bro to Michigan.
3. TexanMark/Jack Bauer-Oregon. Phil Knight U is a rising program which is the 16th most profitable football program and 42nd most profitable basketball program. An added bonus is having the best cheer-leading unit in the country as well for Tex Bauer.
4. Kaiser-Texas A&M, Johnny Football U I can't believe lasted till 20. With the Johnny Football crazy the Aggies raised more money in donations than any school last year in access allegedly of 500 million dollars. The Aggies are the 21st most profitable football program(that will go up as Kyle Field is being expanded above 100k) and the 59th most profitable basketball program.

Sixth round
1. Kaiser-North Carolina, The Heels are the 36th most profitable football program, and 4th most profitable basketball program. They are going to rise in football revenue as their new AD is emphasizing football for the university.
2. TexanMark/Jack Bauer-Clemson, The Tigers are the 23rd most profitable football program, and 51st most profitable basketball program.
3. Chris- Oklahoma State looking at the numbers this is a very underrated great pick as T. Boone Pickens U is the 22nd most profitable football program and 16th most profitable basketball program.
4. Blackknight-Kentucky 28th most profitable football team, 5th most profitable basketball team. Good pick Kentucky fans are crazy supportive and bring value.

Seventh round
1. Blackknight-Ole Miss 38th most profitable football team, 63rd most profitable basketball team. Little bit of reach, but they are good brand.

How is the winner chosen? This looks interesting.
Just consensus, I will crunch the numbers though I have been giving value to each team's Bball and Fball teams as they are picked to help track it at the end.

Are you using 80/20?

Are you using 80/20?
I may use the eye test as well. TV deals are done 80/20.
I am just giving the profit values from the actual raw data. Profits don't factor in TV deal. I will look at FB value/ BB value and favor FB value, but teams like Kentucky, North Carolina and other basketball teams make a lot of revenue from their programs. Like the top BB programs have a wider gap than the FB programs because more teams make a lot of revenue from FB and only the top 12 or so are close in BB and their is a gap.

I thought it was just assumed Mark and I are geniuses.

If the commissioners would show their developing PODs like Mark did when they make their picks, it would be most helpful to us watching at home. Alsacs round by round summaries are necessary, but difficult to interpret since all picks are jumbled.

We are waiting on Chris and this thing will get rolling.

I will summarize after each pick I am here which should the rest of the day except maybe late at night, but I will try my best towards the end to determine where each team is going as they select at the end.
