Na
Dang. Was expecting to see more of him this year but I guess he wasn't a good fit unfortunately. Hope he does well wherever he ends up
Perks of having the best recruiter in America running your program, every scholarship that opens up really is a chance for this staff to upgrade the roster/posotion.I liked Sparrow, but an open scholarship just gives Fran Brown and staff the potential to upgrade the roster / LB position.
Open scholarships = opportunities for this staff.
Good luck to Anwar. He played hard and made some contributions.
They are.I wonder if LBs are coming in
Agree I like this. I wonder if there are certain situations where this will happen vs not. Anwar leaving with a degree and wanting to get playing time on his way out seems fair. And a good reward for the season.I love it. Coach Fran is letting guys who hit the portal still play in the bowl game. That’s awesome!
He’s not running from anything, he’s moving on to his next opportunity and hopefully a grad degree.
I meant from the portal. I know they recruited some freshman. They are.
I meant the portal. We’re getting at least one potential starting LB out of portal. Maybe more.I meant from the portal. I know they recruited some freshman.
Agreed. Whatever his faults, love to watch him see things out.Agree I like this. I wonder if there are certain situations where this will happen vs not. Anwar leaving with a degree and wanting to get playing time on his way out seems fair. And a good reward for the season.
I’m sure some portal guys won’t want to play but it’s nice for the guys who do.
Maybe not the time or place, but it’d be something if that pic is from the Stanford fourth down conversion play.
