Probably not.I mean Cavanaugh right?
InexplicableProbably not.
Good Lord.If there are no staff changes after a 1-10 season, it's even more evident that Dino has given up and the administration still really doesn't care about football.
I won't go that far, but keeping Cav after the way our OL has performed the last 2 years would be a big gamble on his part.If there are no staff changes after a 1-10 season, it's even more evident that Dino has given up and the administration still really doesn't care about football.

Free pass vs saying they just gave up and don’t care? What? They should all be given a free pass this year?
Of course the staff is keeping Cav, Bleich’s now eligible and we just brought in 5 OL this cycle
Agreed. Drop down to FCSIf there are no staff changes after a 1-10 season, it's even more evident that Dino has given up and the administration still really doesn't care about football.

I am saying if they don't make changes, it seems as if 1-10 is acceptable. Which obviously it is not. Start with OL/WR/Strength. All have been an issue for the last few years.
I actually think the OL play improved as the season went on. Not that I think Cav Is a worldIf you judge Cav, what do value? Had good recruiting results in this cycle; Bergeron and Red two years ago; Ilaoa last cycle. Someone got Elmore playing well at his new position. Servais struggled against speed rushes — possibly due to injury. Vetterello needs to be stronger. Dakota and Bleich need to be healthy. What parts of this are on Cav?
We went 1-10 in a large part because we did not have good QB play.I am saying if they don't make changes, it seems as if 1-10 is acceptable. Which obviously it is not. Start with OL/WR/Strength. All have been an issue for the last few years.
Oline is developement. A kid with NO developement since middle school was our best. That seems off.If you judge Cav, what do value? Beater. But considering we had zero depth, probably weren’t hitting live all they much during practice due to that depth, no spring ball, no team Activities, weight lifting , conditioning amd whatever else. I’m ok letting him stick around another year. Cav might also decide to hang it up on his own? Who knows, he coaches a season with while His wife was dealing with Cancer. God bless him for that
Devils advocate. Same lineup ran for 3 yards on 25 carries the previous week.Improved markedly two years in a row. Big issue that there hasn't been any depth to compensate for pre-season injuries. Last year we los Heckel and Servais had to move inside after losing bulk to be more agile on the edge. This year losing Davis without Bleich being available to plug in combined with a senior OT playing essentially on one leg all year led to a number of guys playing out of position. two one hundred yard RBs and one sack allowed against one of the top defenses in the country certainly provides a glimmer of optimism headed to 2021.
both lines consistently got pushed around. As Dino says games are one in the trenches. Not happening.Sigh.
Dino made a TON of changes just one year ago.
Roughly half of the coaches, including BOTH coordinators were replaced.
You want him to makes changes just to make changes, to “send a message”?
Where’s that gif when we need it?
Don’t hold your breath on Wolverine getting canned.
Our kids’ strength & speed #’s are lightyears ahead of the prior regime.
It’s S&C’s fault that Hendrix took out Cisco pre-game? Or that Nunn blew out his ACL?
Or that Tommy got tackled and had a high ankle sprain?
Football is a violent, physical sport.
Sadly, injuries happen.
No matter who the S&C staff is.
Here is the good news. Cav doesn't know any card tricks, Gilbert has actually coached the QB position in college.both lines consistently got pushed around. As Dino says games are one in the trenches. Not happening.
Concerning OL. Either it’s Cav or strength and conditioning they keep getting hurt all the time. I have not seen any other unit on our team or in the entire ncaa that has suffered more injuries to a unit over the last several years.
