They have to be the most inept bunch out there , minus Rutgers of course. They just can’t help sabotaging themselves. New AD will soon be wondering what the hell he got himself into…

Lallys knew if they got Heather in there, she would be their puppet and it would basically be like they are the ADs. Carp comes in, they get their “revenge” and now all hell is breaking loose. Thats why they wanted Lyke, it woulda been their world. But they didn’t get their way so now let’s act like ego maniacs even though “you support SU”. No you don’t- support no matter what. This isn’t congress, this is our teams and programs

At the end of the day this will all get figured out in theory anyways. The worst case for SU athletics was Lyke as AD that would have been doomsday. Let Blair get in here and hopefully right the ship. How much of this is on Haynie as opposed to Syverud. Wont panic until we let the new leadership get some traction. Now if players are skipping spring football because they didn't get NIL money and we skimp on the hoops hire well then that is another story. You need to be resilient to be a Orangemen fan for sure.

Yeah when some of us have stated “is SU what we think it is?” Thats a very valid question. Because this clearly is coming to light now what some of us heard about how things were going up there on the hill. We have all talked about “the brand and the name” and while all that may be true, there’s a lot of clouds over just about everything in athletics right this second. Not saying it can’t change, but I would be on the lookout that some folks like Melo and his group that supports SU a lot right now, may say screw it we’re out if this continues the way it is

Other schools basically have their “collectives” in the same building and staffed by their people. And they handle all the administrative work, legal stuff etc.

Our university partnered with one collective that went bankrupt.

Some donors stepped in on the football side to help as a short term thing. The university still didn’t fix it.
