You left out that Fran Brown has already devised an exit plan with his agent, that this alleged incident is the start of the destruction of Syracuse athletics and the end of any passion for our city.

If Fran went 8-4 or better last season he would've been gone based on what I heard before the season started. And knowing how last year went down it probably would've been PSU or something like that. The man is ultra ambitious. Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, I don't think he sees SU HC as his last stop in college football.

Why would he and why should we expect him to?

If he does well here consistently, the big boys will always come calling, as they should.

That said, it was made evident this year with Indiana that smaller football schools can not only compete but win big with the right coaches, system, and support in the NIL era. Is capturing that lightning hard for smaller football schools? Yes. But it's still possible.
