What was Wilson supposed to do, hand the ball off more crisply? He didn’t even have a chance to make a play. We were trying to keep the clock moving.

Not much I can conclude there other than conservative play calling and the OLine being bad at short yardage run blocking as per usual.

The blown coverage was on Greenwood. A veteran who has earned his way to the 2nd string by blowing coverages most of his career. Kid is caught looking into the backfield when he should only by thinking pass in that spot. Terrible.

I still don’t even know how he’s 2nd string? How is that? Was he in for Wilson? We don’t have anyone else? Bellamy? Peterson? or was he at a safety position? Can’t always tell with the camera angle.

With Price, I think he had completely fresh legs and he didn’t really do anything versus an exhausted defense. He’s been here over a year and he hasn’t done that much in all that time.
In 2022, he had 8 rushes for 39 yards. So far this year, 22 for 86, and 2 catches. No touchdowns yet.
His last season at NMSU was a great season but he hasn’t been that great at Syracuse.
The team needs good RBs. It can’t just be LQA and Shrader.
I just think maybe Ike or Parkman should get more PT.

This game played out the way I thought it would. I jokingly threw out 48-9 scores all week but my first post about the game after Purdue was that I said it’d be a hangover game, we’d win convincingly but it would not be pretty. That’s exactly what happened.

Couldn’t expect too much coming off a big road win at Purdue and then looking towards Clemson. We know Army is no slouch and will punch a team in the mouth, so it set up as a hangover game. We convincingly crushed them in the 2nd half today. It’s a good win and our backup WRs were forced to step up.

I have no idea what’ll happen next weekend but we’ll be ready to rock and roll. This is going to be fun.

I love LQA but he hasn’t looked stellar at times either. I think price is looking the way he does more because of the oline, play calling and he was in today on plays it was obvious we were running it.

I saw something that I thought was odd at the end of the game but maybe this is just regular procedure; the refs were in a van driving off and had a police escort both in front and behind them. They literally raced out of there.

I had all sorts of jokes about that to my wife but it was odd to see.

They do it every game. They must change at Manley or someplace else

Does anybody know if Jeremiah Wilson came back in the game? He made a nice open field tackle then came out. Didn’t look super serious but definitely something to monitor. He’s probably our most athletic DB in terms of speed and quickness.

I thought it was the correct decision. We can't afford to lose a game we had in the bag. CDRW has not been inspiring and I think we just learned where his development stands.

If we lost that game the pitchforks would be out big time.

I see Allen run through open holes quite often, Price just doesn't seem to have enough quickness, speed, power nor agility for this level. Was hoping one of the other transfers would. Just someone to step up as a quality #2.

I stand corrected. Wilson never carried the ball. 3 straight handoffs. The stats are wrong. Price for 4, Price for 5, Price loss.

The line was bad on the 3rd and 1. Jailbreak, Price gets hit by a couple of guys behind the line of scrimmage.

This. To me it looked like Farmer was supposed to cover over the top and got caught biting on another route.
