At least we're not UConn v2022

It’s one game.
yes, but it is indicative of a head coach and staff that made enormous strides during the spring summer and fall. This guy can coach.

I watched the Vanderbilt-Hawaii game. Last year Vandy opened with a 3-23 home loss to FCS East Tennessee State. This year they beat Hawaii in Hawaii 63-10. They were talking about how their coach had essentially created a new team through the transfer portal. We're in an era of rapid changes and the fact that a team was bad last year doesn't necessarily mean they are going to be bad this year.

Who cares? They looked competent for one quarter against a G5 team that I appear to have overrated. The last guy I want coming in is an NFL AND college retread who is currently alienating people left and right.

Should we have a catharsis thread for Cooper Lutz?

...or for Clark Lea?

Or you could pay attention to the point I was making.

Who? The UCLA BOT? They bankrupted the athletic department and aided in the destruction of the PAC12.
See the tweet I posted in this thread a couple of days ago.

Lost starting QB. I think we can get that one.

Add top receiver. Technically 2 best recievers lost another in preseason.

they will by out for blood against us.

We are their super bowl

With that being said, we should handle them fairly easily but shouldn’t be taken too lightly

Not for anything but UConn plays Michigan and NC State this year, i am not sure a possibly 0-1 Syracuse team constitutes a “Super Bowl”-like event for them this year

Uh right, but those games are AT Michigan and AT NC State

Neither of those games are home games.

Plus we are one of their rivals. This is a massive game for them to try and prove something

If anything that makes those games even more
Important. I just feel like we’re pumping ourselves to be more to them then we actually are, similar to what we did against Rutgers last year. Not to mention, it shouldnt matter what they think this game is, talent alone should make that game a blowout even with awful coaching.

They have very few "winnable" games this year...they view us as one of them. This is a very big game for those dorks.

I think we will all be careful after Rutgers last year, and then we’ll realize pretty quickly that we’re better at near every position once the ball is kicked

The final score for Vanderbilt was made by former Syracuse RB Cooper Lutz.

He only had 1 carry but he got into the endzone on it.

We need to beat these guys by a minimum of 3 tds or something is wrong

Where would Cooper Lutz or Jawhar Jordan be on our depth chart right now? Are they better off at their new schools?

You sure about that? They play two top 15 teams in consecutive weeks right after us in Michigan and NC St.
