WVU leaving helps SU much more, because the AQ status which is up for reconsideration after 2013 would be a lot shakier without WVU's ranking. If Big East loses AQ, SU and PItt would both have a valid argument that facts have materially changed and they aren't getting the benefit of the Big East being an AQ BCS conference, which they will assert they relied upon in agreeing to the $5 mil buyout and the 27 mo. period after BC, Miami and VT left.

The ACC better add another northeast school - Rutgers or UConn - or the NY market will be up for grabs. Comcast here in Connecticut doesn't offer the ACC network, and I don't see them adding it unless Rutgers or UConn (hopefully UConn) joins the ACC.

If I were the Big10 (and I know this won't happen), but I would add UConn and Rutgers right now and completely lock up the NY market.
