Lost a lot of respect for him, watching his flatlining effort, in 2023.
And 2024.Lost a lot of respect for him, watching his flatlining effort, in 2023.
It was genuinely as if he was trying to get fired.Lost a lot of respect for him, watching his flatlining effort, in 2023.
That’s good money for a guy who had thrown in the towel since 2019Dino's buyout was $8.9 million if you're scoring at home.

How much did Syracuse pay football coach Dino Babers after he was fired?
Syracuse's most recent tax forms also provided the first indication of what the school is paying basketball coach Adrian Autry.www.syracuse.com

When he started blaming the portal for things not even caused by the portal I knew he was cooked. And 2024.
True dat.Which most everyone here called for after the 10 win season and bowl game.
We experienced every single emotion positive and negative during the Dino era. One thing though that distinguished him from Shafer and Marrone was that the highs were higher. I think Dino’s era ran its course a few seasons longer (no one was firing coaches in 2020 and 2021). We will always have 2018 with Dino and in a way that season raised the standards amongst everyone because of how awesome it was. Dino just didn’t have the energy to really build on that momentum. We had NY6 aspirations going into 2019.When he started blaming the portal for things not even caused by the portal I knew he was cooked.
That was 99% Dungey...not BabersWhich most everyone here called for after the 10 win season and bowl game.

That actually makes me sick to think he got that much for a buyout. Without Dungey who wasn’t even his recruit the guy would have lost an insane amount of games. He was the laziest person in the community who did absolutely nothing and literally didn’t show up to anything unless he was contractually obligated. Saw him a couple times at the airport and tried to talk with him and he was so damn awkward and rude. What a scrub, thank god he’s gone
Far too many recruiting excusesWhen he started blaming the portal for things not even caused by the portal I knew he was cooked.
Tried to talk with him once At Onondaga G&CC. Wouldn’t give me the time of dayThat actually makes me sick to think he got that much for a buyout. I bet Arizona wished he didImagine being paid $9M to go home and stay there, i can only wish.
Those noodles at home must not have been that goodImagine being paid $9M to go home and stay there, i can only wish.
That is not false. See what i did there?I bet Arizona wished he did

My daughter ran into him and his daughter by accident, she said they were extremely gracious and friendly , especially when she explained that her father was a huge SU football fan. In major college football today that’s not a huge buyout, Dino pumped life into a sagging program when he got here, he was unable to maintain it . I have no hard feelings.Tried to talk with him once At Onondaga G&CC. Wouldn’t give me the time of day
TBH I don't blame him, I don't want to do a single thing in the airport besides get in and out of there. That actually makes me sick to think he got that much for a buyout. Instead of counting sheep, he was counting 8.9M in his headI never understood how a HC could remain so placid on the sidelines. It annoyed me.
We should all aspire to this. There's no better job than a fired college football coach
