The GM has been way more important. Theo built the farm system up. Lucchino and Theo clashed but Theo's guys in Cherington and Hoyer built the roster up. Mookie Betts was drafted by Theo in his last year.

I couldn't disagree with most of what you wrote more. First, who knows why Ortiz was shot. It doesn't matter. He was the VICTIM. becuase he was having an affair with some woman means it's okay to shoot him? Crazy. And we don't even know that is the case. Once again, maybe a wise old Indian told you. It sure wasn't law enforcement. Did the Herald print that? The best buddies with Brady looked a lot like the charities that his pal Trump runs. When I was a kid I had an orange Syracuse football that we always used in the winter. Easy to see in the snow and at night under the floodlights when we played football in the neighborhood.

That thing would become an absolute rock in the cold and hard to grip. It didn’t instantly deflate. We used to wear those tight cotton gloves with the rubber grippers on the palms to make it easier to grip and catch the football in the snow.

I know the science behind it and I always have to put air in my tires after the first few cold nights in the fall. But it definitely doesn’t happen within minutes of exposure to the cold.

Makes sense why he would have wanted them deflated. Easier to grip.

I think there is a lot more technology based cheating going on in baseball than just two franchises.

There is a reason it took a long time for anybody to come up about the Astros even though many had moved to other organizations. I suspect it is prevalent across many but not all teams.
