80% of this team was simply not good in my opinion. But that’s no excuse to give up on the team. I have no problem with a youth movement though. Need to cut the dead weight next year and bring in a way better portal class than last year. The portal last year was a stinker . I want the best players to play and no ifs or ands about it .

Whatever we did in the portal last year cannot be repeated. High school players are never ready to play now that there is a portal. Even our stud freshmen struggled at times.

First series of the game. 3rd and 5. BC with trips left and we have only Samuels out there covering 3 guys!!!! Safety is 15 yards away. Easy pitch and catch.

A grade school coach sees the confusion and calls time out. BUT NOT US. WHY?! I screamed at the TV and turned the game off. I couldn’t take it anymore. I knew what was going to happen. Took my kid to the airport rather than call uber as planned.

There is a difference between just bad, and hopelessly, unbelievably, incredibly incompetent. I literally feel like Erob and Nixon sabotaged the program, while Fran couldn’t seem to care less.

Erob is clueless.
Either Fran is as clueless as Erob or he cares more about Erob than the “S”

Even after the 2020 season, I felt like they were positives to build off of going into the following season. I don't really see it going into 2026. This is the least hopeful I've been going into an off-season in a long time.

There are no players who seemed to have breakthroughs at the end of the season. If anything, everyone got worse.

Exactly! That stuff works while things are going well, but we need a coach that knows the business and not just a smooth talker.Im sure he is a nice man, but all that “”Winners get washed” B.S. is just that.

You've also got to worry about optics. Who's gonna take a job if they're fired after 2 seasons.

This team had no talent. WR’s were good if we had someone to get them the ball, but this was the least talented team we have had in a while. Defense talent level is non-existent. I know everyone wants to bash ERob and he deserves his share of the blame, but who are the players on that side of the ball? Not 1 difference maker

I give Fran one more season, although this season was disgraceful. As far as JW, I realize there were some politics involved with some things like men's basketball. But I also don't think he is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers, like some of his strongest supporters might make you believe.

I hear you. Maybe another risk. But someone will want the challenge. Waiting another year could just make the situation so much worse.

This is my 35th year attending games and in all honesty today was the lowest point. No one there (kudos to those who did suffer through it). No energy from the team, no imagination from the staff. Just mailed it in.

It’s really a shame and a big fat red flag on the Fran tenure.
