He's Brown's good friend. Erob should do the honorable thing for his good friend and make it easier on Brown by resigning. He'd have no problem finding a job as DL coach somewhere. Or we just keep him on staff in some capacity.

This is my 35th year attending games and in all honesty today was the lowest point. No one there (kudos to those who did suffer through it). No energy from the team, no imagination from the staff. Just mailed it in.

It’s really a shame and a big fat red flag on the Fran tenure.

My best friend who goes no matter how bad the game is missed literally her first game in 30 years. First game ever!

In my opinion, Fran gave up on this team as soon as he anointed Filardi our best available qb and starter. He stopped caring whether we won or lost. As bad as Collins was, he at least gave us a 50-50 chance to win since he could pass - albeit sometimes to the wrong team.

Once the team realized he didn’t care and DART was now a joke, they stopped giving maximum effort. In all seriousness, I can’t say that I blame them.

I will renew my season tickets at the last possible moment, but I have no faith in this team and even less in Fran (negative 20 if that is possible!). But I have had season tickets for 30 years and won’t give up now.

He set fire to all our hopes, dreams and faith in the team, and then pissed all over it repeatedly to thoroughly snuff it out.

I just want someone who can actually run an efficient offenses with whatever players he has, not someone who basically quit on the team.
He basically said when Steve went down, we're doing it my way, and nothing else.

I was there and it was interesting how fans started to yell during the 4th quarter, "throw the ball". I honestly don't know how we expected to win a game today with the play calling. I think I could do better coaching. lol

I do think next year will be far better and more like last year.

But these final eight games were disastrous. I didn’t tune in for one live second of the Aouth Bend game. I was hoping for something different today, but - oof.

Fran said there will be major changed in defense after the game. I believe in both the staff and in personnel. Erob’s 4-2-5 needs two fast linebackers to cover receivers and lineman who can get to the quarterback. We don’t have any. I love Deslauries, but he can’t play in this scheme. They had receivers running wild today because our linebackers and safeties can’t cover. Granted, our two safeties have been hurt all year.

He also said if guys in the portal are just looking for NIL, SU is not for them. They have to be “student athletes”. I hate to say it, but the best players are looking for NIL. I’m not expecting too many difference makers coming from the portal. If Fran doesn’t get 10-12 difference makers, he might as well kiss next year good bye too. This roster is lacking all over the field.

Agree with a lot of this. He had no business putting Filardi out on that field. As bad as Collins was….and that was real bad….he was 5 times better than the walk on lacrosse guy.

Student athletes!! That’s funny. This is pro football now. All that talk about building young men, while admirable, is from a bygone era.

And we learned that Fran is a nice guy, means well, but is not a good head coach. And I know I'll get dislikes for saying it but I really believe it. What informed my view is calling timeouts when B.C. had the ball near the end of the first half, and not having a game plan that allowed Filardi to throw down field until late in the 4th qtr. Told me he wasn't trying to win but to just manage the loss.

And he was totally unqualified for the job to start.
