We disagree on Buddy a lot. Buddy will be a fine first option for any team and is going to get AA discussion this year. He played his best against the best teams. Clearly he was affected by Covid before that.

There’s too much discussion about previous years meddling in this thread.

Our fanbase has just come to accept do whatever keeps us from bottoming out but not fixing the problem.

Everyone has an opinion. There are some very good points being made above by very good posters who know the game. I think you are stagnating on your belief that the fanbase is "accepting" of X (insert whatever here, there are a lot of choices for you) and not giving enough consideration to some posters taking into account JB's 45 year history of how HE prefers to play the talent he has.

Why would I want to bet on something I don’t want to happen. I want Benny to not be the third in minutes I’m just predicting it. I want him to play the most. If we had Kadary Richmond as point guard then yeah I probably would shut up because we would have a team that can actually compete.

That's fair. But, I think it's more on point to think that JB has evolved and adapted over the years. His streak of NEVER having a losing season is proof of that and might be THE single most incredible stat in his HOF career.

But two things have remained absolute IMO: 1. JB is only going to play players he trusts will give him the best chance of winning the game in front of him. 2. The "best" (see above) players are going to play huge minutes, even at the expense of playing out of position or the development of the bench.

Who on this team can create his own shot? Unless it's Benny, nobody. It's a team of all catch and shoot guys. Hopefully with high basketball IQ that moves the ball and finds the open man. But I don't anticipate any great shakes offense here.

Nothing in that is ridiculous. The kid played Unbelievably well the last three weeks. When you’re on shoot more when you’re off shoot less take smarter shots nothing ridiculous at all.

Competing is not being a double digit seed in the tournament. A 4 seed should expect They can beat the one seed. And 11 seed does not expect the same. That would be a big upset

Yeah no offense but you have no idea who I’ve been talking to on the board about next season with already my position has been already known for pretty much known.

I said we will be a tournament team and probably a 7 to 10 seed.
Look at the seeds of the national champions the top four seeds are teams that are going to win the national title Overwhelming majority of the time andI don’t see that from us.
