Big 12 to expand...or not

UConn should form a Connecticut Conference - along with Trinity, and U of Hartford. (Yale will refuse to join) They can play with themselves. UConn will dominate!

Connecticut College - for the artsy lads.

Fairfield, Sacred Heart, Quinn., Channel 30 out of new Britain can carry all the games.

If they invite Trinity, then they'll also have to invite Wesleyan. I understand there could be a lot of bad blood if they don't.
Nope. Can't break up the Little 3 (Amherst, Williams & Wesleyan)

I have to admit the context created by all these sad Huskie pictures makes me laugh every time someone posts one.

Iowa State AD said this today. Ouch

"Because we want to add more schools to this league that are going to be like Rutgers or Boston College in their conferences? Which have no fans coming to the games, and they're getting outscored 170 to whatever it was. In Boston College's case, haven't won a game in two to three years in their conference. That totally dilutes your value."

Not to defend either Buttgers or BC, Iowa St. doesn't have much to brag about. Currently 1-6 and lost to Northern Iowa earlier this year, 3-9 last year, 2-10 the year before that.

I don't know that Iowa St should be delivering that particular message. And Kansas is like "hey, what about us?"

Well, the Connecticut AG will sue, for one thing...

So they will have to add Eastern, Western, Southern and Central CT to the party to settle the lawsuit. What the hey throw Albertus Magnus and Mitchell College in there as well. Split conference into Disgruntled NYC Commuter and Disgruntled Boston Commuter divisions. Division winners play in the Michael Bolton Nutmeg Insurance bowl at Danforth HS stadium.

At least Beantown College won their division within memory and had a Doug Flutie season. And Rutgers has ... has ... well, there was that time that ... and that thing with ... uh ... forget it! Other than begging the ESB to light up in red, they have nothing.

Soooo who jumps from Big12 first?

PAC12 and Big10(12) should just put that conference out of its misery

BTW, is there a link to that quote? It sounds made up.

Seriously, Iowa State should shut up and sit quietly in the corner, hoping no one asks why on Earth there are two schools from freakin' Iowa in P5 conferences.

I always wondered how Nebraska stole the "Cornhuskers" nickname out from under both Iowa schools.
