A lot of jitters here. Maybe FSU has a come together moment or maybe they stay in the same place mentally. Either way, don’t discount the swag the cuse team is currently feeling. They’re not going to Tallahassee scared.

Exactly. "Delusional" is a ridiculous label. I'll say it again...This isn't the same FSU everyone thought they were going to be in the preseason, and it's much more then just not having Francoise. Their team is basically eating themselves from the inside out. Their are players in open rebellion against Jimbo. There are some that think he lost the team. 35-7 vs BC is a lot more than missing Francois. Blackmon is a terrible QB. Akers is good, but he's not Patrick. FSU has an OK defense, but they aren't on the same level of Clemson, NC ST, Miami, or LSU. This game is a step down from those 4 and how did we fare against them? I really hope Syracuse pulls this one out because this team gets no where near the respect that they deserve. This is easily the best team we have had since 2012, and before that you can go back another 8 years. This is a very winnable game, that I will be disappointed if we don't capitalize.

Side note: No team has beat both Clemson and FSU in the same year since UNC in 2010. Would love to add Syracuse to that.

It's still a conference road game against a team that is loaded with individual talent. It will be a difficult game if FSU shows any signs of life. I think Syracuse will win, not blow them out.

All I know is that Scott Shafer were the HC I wouldn’t be expecting a win or a competitive performance tomorrow.

Florida State lost 35-3 to Boston College and have a banged up QB.

Agreed, looks like a tough game. But again, thinking we'll win vs expecting us to and being disappointed if we don't are two different things. Though we do have evidence, belief isn't quite a given yet. While I do think/hope we have a good chance of winning, I certainly will not be disappointed per se if we don't.

No way. They have more problems than just QB. Their OL couldn’t protect Francois last year - and they graduated all of their WR. They *should* be winning anyways. They have top 5 talent.

But their problems run deeper than just one position.

We have yet to win on the road. FSU has top 10 talent. They are coming off a hugely embarrassing loss. Jimbo will have them fired up. Their QB throws a great deep ball. If we can stay close at the half i believe we win. This game could go so many ways. The bottom line is we cant give them any easy scores. No turnovers and keep everything in front of us.

No idea what to think about today. Feel like there’s a chance FSU had a kumbaya meeting to salvage what’s left of their season and there’s a bit of fear of them putting together a complete game. But if I’m a Florida State fan, I’m worried that Syracuse is going to put together a complete game. I’d be worried that Syracuse isn’t going to throw four interceptions in the first half.

Yep, agree. Even if FSU plays a "complete" game their offense is still very suspect and, due to injuries, has limited depth at the skill positions. My only concern is how much can we score if their defense shows-up today.

BC jumped them, FSU made mistakes when they had multiple chances to stay in the game and eventually they quit. At home it will be much harder unless they crowd gets on them for making mistakes.

I wouldn’t say Jimbo has them fired up. There is basically a mutiny going on. If anything they may be turning on him.
