I understand your logic. However, if we want to have our best players on the court, then the frontcourt has to be Marek, Quincy and Alan. The guards are debatable.
Frankie was first in vs Bryant
I am a fan of an 8 man rotation. Three guards, three forwards and two centers. And, I thought that would be our model. But, based on a very small sample, the three forwards are our three best players. And, in order to have them all on the court at the same time, either Marek slides to center or Alan slides to guard. You have to use depth. Six or seven guys can't play 30 games straight every game without some of them getting hurt.

This really sucks. I feel bad for Sidibe because he's a good guy and he just can't seem to catch a break. This might be premature, but what if he cannot return to form and stay healthy? We'll see how he progresses, but his problems are starting to seem pretty chronic. His career path is starting to remind me of Dajaun Coleman.
Regardless, I hope one of our other centers are ready to contribute. Marek can man the middle adequately against smaller and less physical teams, but I think he's going to need help against the big boys. How are Frank, Jesse and JBA looking in practice? Certainly one of them can be ready to contribute, right? I've barely heard anything about JBA? He was, if I remember correctly, our priority recruit at the center position. After his redshirt season, he should know the system and be much stronger I would think? Frank was first off the bench, but without practice I can't imagine he's ready to man the complex 2-3 zone. Who's going to be the guy to step up?
Bobby brass ones has an opp... Time to step up young man...
Nor can they play 4 minutes into the first of 30 games...You have to use depth. Six or seven guys can't play 30 games straight every game without some of them getting hurt.
