The problem, as I see it, is that guys really struggle playing in the zone in their first year in the program. Our best seasons (since we went exclusively zone) have been when we have a handful of guys with experience. We've had LAX players enter the portal and return.
The portal just means you're exploring your options, and allows other coaches to contact you.
However, if coaches can't make contact until at least April 15 due to the new coronavirus rules, and players have concerns about visiting schools, a lot of players just may stay put this off season.
If the NCAA changes the rule and allows players to transfer without having to sit out, we'll have no problem getting players if we need them.
So you think Braswell wasn't really injured?Cmon dude. Is it a coincidence that every player that we lose to the portal has some type of nagging injury? Maybe, just maybe, it gives JB a cover for why we won’t play certain guys.
I don’t know what to believe anymore. So you think Braswell wasn't really injured?
Yeah, keep calling for Buddy's presser.I don’t know what to believe anymore.
...still waiting for buddy’s presser...
I think he was going to see desperation minutes. We've tried everyone else let's try Braswell.Braswell was gonna see some solid minutes but he was hurt from day 1 this yr
Braswell moves well and his shot looks good.I don’t think Braswell has the game or body to ever be able to play a bunch of minutes. He’s kind of an awkward athlete with an extremely thin body. Maybe the leg injuries hurt, but his lateral movements never have looked good to me. Good jumper and a decent shooter, but can he add much more? He’s like a really poor man’s Southerland at this point.
Hope he stays, but I’m not expecting him to ever be an impact player. Hope he proves that statement incorrect.
It seemed that JB was trying to work him into minutes, but it was obvious he was having problems moving after only a few minutes on the floor. JB was very clear about Braswell's problems and not in a condescending way.I think he was going to see desperation minutes. We've tried everyone else let's try Braswell.

As for being thin, he, unlike Marek, was able to put on weight this year. I hope his leg/ankle problems heal because I think he has the ability to be a very good player for us.
I have my doubts. There were very good opportunities for Bras to play more minutes and fill a couple of needs on the team but JB stuck to what was working 40% of the time.
Hey Alex I'll take "bad shins" for 200.Braswell should be playing twenty minutes a game. He was another guy we never gave a legitimate shot to and if Marek was struggling Braswell could of filled in for him
Braswell was not physically able to play the minutes you suggest.Braswell should be playing twenty minutes a game. He was another guy we never gave a legitimate shot to and if Marek was struggling Braswell could of filled in for him

This has to stay here...I've heard that Braswell has a wooden leg and a real foot.So Braswell’s leg thing was made up too?
So is Braswell for sure in the portal?
The portal have tp in stock, you think? He is NOT in the portal (as of Noon)
The portal is closed this afternoon for cleaning and restocking.
It will reopen at 6 AM tomorrow.
Thank you for your patronage.
Braswell was behind the team's and league's leading scorer.
A hoax perpetrated by the Chinese and/Ukrainians.So Braswell’s leg thing was made up too?
Yep. Just like the poster who said Jalen's thumb surgery was unnecessary and only done to enable a red shirt. So Braswell’s leg thing was made up too?
Just enough for a full rotation... if JB wants to go deep into the bench.I really hope we don’t lose him. We’re gonna have like 7 players next year... if the season is even played.
But sometimes you need those guys off the bench. To have them available from the bench they have to know they have a chance to get off of it regularly.I don’t think Braswell has the game or body to ever be able to play a bunch of minutes.
