I heard him during a telecast the weekend that the sanctions were announced. Vitale went on a four minute stream-of-consciousness diatribe defending JB and criticizing the NCAA. I don't even think it was an ACC game--he just did it because he believed what he was saying.

Good for him!

Axe was just on sportscenter. It seems the more controversial he is, the more the national media seeks his opinion. Maybe he just wants to fit in because he was unpopular in high school?

Hahaha I definitely like the theory, but he was pretty popular in HS. He did a great job with the morning announcements.
