Buffalo Bills 2019

buffalo needs a RB and a WR pretty soon.. Gore isnt playing 5 more yrs..

i dont know that he can stand up to a work load.. He is great for the change of pace, but if he was doing Gores workload he may get worn down.

He should never have to. Just split carries with him a future guy they draft in the 3rd round (seems to be the sweet spot for running backs).

Zay is such a conundrum.

He gets open and Josh misses him all the time.

That being said, if it’s a tough play to be made, he never makes it.

I guess Daboll and McDermott assume Josh and Zay will eventually get on the same page, but it seems he, and we, just need fresh starts.

Agree 100%, Zay could be a nice addition for a system that values a possession receiver where he is the 3rd option gets schemed open and can make the catches when they are there. Saints, lions Falcons, Seahawks or Niners something like that but I just don't see him ever being really productive in Buffalo. They need a true 50/50 guy that can go up and make tough catches but also prevent some INT's. Just the world they live in and wish the kid nothing but the best but moving forward with Josh Allen presents some challenges for sure

I believe we have one of those guys. Just need to bump him up from the practice squad.

At this point I’m ready to give him a try.

Yeah I think everybody is and he and Barkley had solid chemistry in preseason as well. They had their weekly presser at 4 pm wonder if it came up. Huge game Sunday with bye/Miami/ Philly coming up. 5-1 heading into Philly game would be fantastic

Told my team at the office today that I’m honestly annoyed at myself with how much I’m letting a football game bother me.
Yeah - with the way the NFL is being officiated these days - it might be best if we all divest ourselves from it, especially as Bills fans.

Of course I say this as a season ticket holder who will never divest, hahaha. Sucks.

How was the crowd? I had friends there

Oh man - the place was on fire.

So much fun in the lots, everyone was in good spirits, met a lot of good ppl on both sides.

The cheap shot knock out (and the classic offsetting penalty) totally changed the mood of the day tho. Ppl wanted blood after that. Even the old timers in my section were on tilt. But the place was as loud as I’ve ever heard it.

unless you have an automatic when the Wide isnt covered its hard to do on the fly.. it helps in the NFL that lineman dont go downfield so thats not an issue like in college on punts.

you would think they would be trained but you still need a punter no afraid to throw a 20-30 yd pass .

of course even an INC pass would have been better than a block. what i couldnt tell from this was did NE also have the returner up just off the screen . since it was 15 to go he could have been around the 50 and still had time to cover the WR on a throw. I dont know why more teams in college dont try the over load and not even bother with a returner especially when teams are around the 40-50 going in and the punter is likely to kick it into the end zone to avoid a block. most punters dont really do a good job with those punts anyway.

I don't know why this wasn't pointed out at all on the broadcast, as my friend and I were yelling about it at the bar. You either have to have a play there to get the un-covered gunner the ball or you have to bring him in to max protect. Can't do what we did, which is let a guy in un-touched to block the punt. Awful special teams play.
