Buffalo Bills 2021 Thread

His salary always perplexed me. I know - good special teams guy but not at that price. Speaking of which I would think every player who is close to making a roster would be begging to be put on special teams to show what they can do whether it's a gunner, a snapper, a holder- whatever.
I think it was kind of ok at the time. They had a ton of cap space and assumed the cap would take another big jump. Did that with a bunch of the DL guys too. No reason to not make him cut that in half or say adios now though.

Terry Pegula, whose multifaceted sports, hospitality and energy empire has been closely watched in Buffalo over the past year, saw his overall ranking of the world’s richest men and women drop from 330 last year to 530 this year.

The good news is that the co-owner of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres (with wife Kim) still saw his overall value rise from $5 billion to $5.4 billion. Pegua’s net worth has risen a whopping $1.4 billion since 2017, according to Forbes.

The former fracking tycoon is sorting out the operational complexities of professional sports during a global pandemic and is preparing to begin negotiations on a major Bills stadium project.

Officials finally admitted the call on Ford in the Houston playoff game was wrong. Lol.

what a joke. When will they admit they blew the call on the opening kickoff of the 2nd half?

Maybe this time next year, the NFL will use clips of the KC DBs in the AFCC game as examples of illegal contact and holding.

Still think this is the most bizarre and under reported nfl story maybe ever. Will the mysterious black shirts ever show up again? They never did for the first 38yrs of my life. Will anyone ever speak of it again or do we just go on pretending it didn't happen? But everyone still talks about a stupid Dez Bryant catch 8yrs ago in a game Dallas was probably going to lose anyway. Incredible.

Zach Ertz is still currently on the Eagles roster. FWIW.

But the returner clearly wished he had taken a knee!

So many questions regarding the blackshirts:
1. Are the blackshirts at every NFL game?
2. Are they free to interject themselves at any point of any game, on any type of call?
3. Can the blackshirts prompt the replay booth to ring down to the field?
4. Has anyone ever seen blackshirts rush onto the field to reverse an on-field call?

Don't forget the league piping something about "common sense" into Tessiturd's earpiece which he dutifully repeated; as though that ever existed before. Just like it was common sense for the most penalized team to have zero post-snap fouls in 5 quarters of play.

Yeah.. What ?

Listening to the espn broadcast was laughable .. the moron was talking about “common sense prevails”

Does common sense prevail when a receiver who is clearly going to score a TD spikes the ball on the 1?

What about when a receiver isn’t touched and puts the ball on the ground ? Does the ref say this is giving themself up ? No.. it’s a fumble, seen it many times .. if they stay down then yes .. it’s a give up

Interesting, gonna be fascinating to see what happens when someone inevitable sues.

We'll see how many other NFL teams follow suit.

Would you prefer a Dome that's 20% occupied but "vaccine optional", or 100% occupied with vaccines mandatory?

I am all about the 100% let me get that clear but you and I both know this will undoubtedly end up in court and will likely be found unconstitutional.

I have no doubt it will end up in court, but you don't HAVE to go to a Bills game, so I tend to doubt it will be found unconstitutional. Will there be some other solution found? Probably. I just don't think the Constitution will end of being involved.

If Wegmans can have a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Admittance" policy, Erie County should be able to do similar.

Besides, nobody wears shirts and shoes at Bills games anyways.

I agree with the policy mostly, but I also hope that it's only a one season thing. Of course, I also though that we would have a normal Fall this past year and that didn't happen...

Whether you have to "go" or not I don't think will be the argument. It will be that the Bills or any other NFL team is mandating you be vaccinated for Corona as pre-requisite for entering as a fan. While I don't see why someone wouldn't get vaccinated for a virus that could kill you (seems like a no-brainer) I think its highly likely a court will find the requirement violates a whole host of stuff including an individuals constitutional rights. Its' one thing for SU or any school to demand a student be vaccinated but for a general member of the public to enter a stadium or a store, that's not going to hold up.

Well it's the courteous thing to do. Then again, have you sat in the Rockpile?

They’ll figure a way to track down some level of public money that went to the bills to some degree and that’s how they’ll drag it in

America is being killed by catering to the weak minded.

My body my choice.

I planned to get the vaccine by the time late fall came around, but wanted to wait it out since I had already been infected and have the antibodies to get through summer while letting the vaccine play out some more. Also if you’ve recently been infected you are more prone to blood clots and suffering symptoms of the illness.

Completely and totally wrong. An infringement on my freedoms.
