Buffalo Bills 2021 Thread

Defense is resting starters. Which is great, because the Bills already get an extra day of rest against likely KC, and now the D effectively tested the entire fourth quarter. Breaking perfectly.

I am so fired up. Texting my buddies. I know it’s wildcard weekend but this means a lot to me. 20 years I watched this team beat mine like 90% of the time…. And win Super Bowls… a lot of them …. I deserve this damnit!
They're just a name at this point.

I don't know what it is, but the switch seemed to turn on when Ryan Bates replaced Ike Boettger. Singletary looks like a different player
And he’s getting carries and clearly some space to run. I’ve been a fan. He was considered a solid post contact runner as a rookie and honestly his numbers have remained solid despite limited touches most of the year. He breaks tackles. He doesn’t have the breakaway speed like some do, but he is a very physical runner which I think he doesn’t get credit for.

I posted in the thread earlier but his run on second and 3, waiting for a seam on the toss when nothing was there at first was very very good.

He’s been killing it for 5 weeks, honestly.

Bill Simmons was saying Allen had one of the best QB games ever last time in New England and the odds of repeating that aren’t good

Well he didn’t repeat it . He went above and beyond it
I heard dumber things all week from neutral, supposedly sharp handicappers. Never heard more obsessing over an almost int in my life as the one in Foxboro. Of course nobody mentioned the Bills drops or the OLman "downfield" by 6 inches.
But those 2 games are splitting hairs. Didn't have the benefit of a strong running game in NE, makeshift OL, pressure to score on every drive - so I think that's a tough one to top from a qb standpoint; though from a fan standpoint obv. no reg. season game touches last night.

Seems like the Bills have figured out how to run the ball? The OL was masterful. They are very, very dangerous right now.
It's very strange after we were so bad at it for so long. I forgot what it looks like. Mobile QBs usually make life easier for RBs so it never made much sense.
Bates and Brown I guess make a difference. Pretty funny we landed on them almost by accident.
And though I'm a "RBs don't matter" guy - Singletary looks good. Been hitting some small cracks like Thurman used to. Don't remember if the video was posted here but Moss had a walk-in TD from the 6 in the first NE game and he cutback right into the teeth of the defense. Funny how one play like that changes the entire narrative of a game.
